Loukios

...The story of Cupid and Psyche is inserted in the middle of the work, which is valuable in the study of mythology. The form of looking at human society through the appearance of animals can be said to be the source of Natsume Soseki's I Am a Cat, but the Greek Lucian of the same 2nd century also wrote a work entitled Lukios or the Robber, and it is thought that there was an even older work that served as a model for the works of these two authors, which is considered to be The Tale of the Robber, which is said to have been written in Greek by Loukios of Patras. However, the original work no longer exists.
