Pall Mall

...In 1969, the company changed its name to American Brands. Its main brands were Pall Mall and Carlton. Since the 1960s, the company has shifted its focus to non-tobacco sectors, and in 1966 it acquired Sunshine Biscuit Company, in 1967 Jim Beam Distilling Company (number one in the US for bourbon), and in 1968 Duffy Mott Company (number one in the US for juice).
