A generator that uses a superconducting magnet for the rotor electromagnet. Development of superconducting magnets is being carried out for large-capacity steam-driven turbine generators. Superconductivity makes generators significantly smaller and lighter, and also improves characteristics such as voltage regulation. This is because the output P of a generator is expressed as P = KD ² L ( K = k * Bg * AC ). In the above equation, D ² L is the dimension that represents volume, so K is called the output coefficient. The content of K is expressed as AC (ampere-conductor) _, which is the product of the magnetic flux density Bg _in the air gap between the stator and rotor and the generating capacity of the armature coil, or the current that can be passed, A , and the number of turns C of the conductor.
