Year of birth: Kan'ei 1 (1624)
A concubine of Tokugawa Iemitsu, the third shogun of the Edo shogunate. Daughter of Rokujo Arizumi. Also known as Oume no Kata. She entered Ise Keikoin and when she went to the palace to express her gratitude for the succession, she caught Iemitsu's eye and was forced to return to secular life. It is said that she was not allowed to have children due to the wishes of the shogunate, but she was highly favored by Iemitsu, and after the death of Kasuga no Tsubone, she also supervised the Ooku and became a senior court lady. After Iemitsu's death, she took the name Eikoin. Her grave is at Koishikawa Muryoin. <References> "Tokugawa Shoka Keifu" Volumes 1 and 2

Year of birth: Tenbun 17 (1548)
A concubine of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Mother of Ieyasu's second son, Yuki Hideyasu. Daughter of Nagami Shimanokami Yoshihide (one theory is Murata Itake). Initially, she was a maid to Tsukiyamadono. She was also called Kogo no Tsubone. It is said that Hideyasu was born in a village outside Hamamatsu Castle because of Tsukiyamadono's jealousy. She followed Hideyasu and lived in Kitanosho, Echizen Province (Fukui Prefecture). After Hideyasu's death, she took the name Choshoin. Year of birth: Tensho 8 (1580)
A concubine of Tokugawa Ieyasu. She was the daughter of Masaki Yoritada, but was adopted by Kageyama Ujihiro, and is therefore also known as Kageyamadono. She gave birth to two children, Yorinobu (the founder of the Kii Domain) and Yorifusa (the founder of the Mito Domain). After Ieyasu's death, she became a monk and took the name Yojuin. She converted to the Nichiren sect. Her gravestone is at Ikegami Honmonji Temple. <References> "Tokugawa Shoka Keifu" Volumes 1 and 2

江戸幕府3代将軍徳川家光の側室。六条有純の娘。お梅の方ともいう。伊勢慶光院に入り,継目の御礼のため登営したおり,家光の目にとまり還俗を余儀なくされた。幕閣らの意向により,子女を儲けることを許されなかったといわれるが,家光の寵厚く,春日局の没後は大奥の取締りも行い,大上臈となった。家光没後,永光院と号した。墓所は小石川無量院。<参考文献>『徳川諸家系譜』1・2巻

徳川家康の側室。家康の次男結城秀康の生母。永見志摩守吉英(一説に村田意竹)の娘。はじめは築山殿の侍女であった。小督局ともいう。秀康を浜松城外の村で出生したのは,築山殿の嫉妬のためといわれる。秀康に従って越前国(福井県)北庄に居住。秀康没後長勝院と号した。生年には天文16年説もある。<参考文献>『徳川諸家系譜』1・2巻

徳川家康の側室。正木頼忠の娘であるが,蔭山氏広の養女となったため蔭山殿ともいう。頼宣(紀伊藩祖),頼房(水戸藩祖)を儲ける。家康没後落飾して養珠院と号した。日蓮宗に帰依。池上本門寺に墓石がある。<参考文献>『徳川諸家系譜』1・2巻
