〘名〙 祭りの前の物忌みを主要行事とする祭り。氏子の厳重な忌籠りを特色とする。兵庫県加古川市の日岡神社、京都府相楽郡精華町祝園(ほうぞの)、山城町棚倉、高知市一宮の土佐神社など類例が多い。
