Kabuki dance piece. Kiyomoto. Original title: Mata Koko ni Kabuki no Hanadashi (Again Here Kabuki Flower Trap). One of the three transformations (lower volume). Also known as Sarutori (Monkey and Rooster). First performed by Bando Mitsugoro III in 1826 at the Edo Ichimuraza Theatre. Lyrics by Sakurada Jisuke II, music by Kiyomoto Saibei I, choreography by Matsumoto Goroichi. A folk dance depicting a tobi-gashira (head of a construction worker) who has safely led a float at the festival of Hie Sanno Gongen in Akasaka, Edo. The piece features young men and geisha in a stylish scene after the festival. The entire piece is in good form, with many interesting parts such as kudoki and hikumono-dashi. 歌舞伎舞踊曲。清元。本名題『再茲歌舞妓花轢 (またここにかぶきのはなだし) 』。三変化の一つ (下の巻) 。別称『申酉 (さるとり) 』。文政9 (1826) 年江戸市村座で3世坂東三津五郎初演。作詞2世桜田治助,作曲1世清元斎兵衛,振付松本五郎市。江戸,赤坂日枝山王権現の祭礼で,山車の先導を無事つとめ終えた鳶頭 (とびがしら) を描く風俗舞踊。祭りのあとの粋な様子に,若い者や芸者をからませている。全曲本調子で,クドキ,引くもの尽しと聞きどころも多い。近年では,17世中村勘三郎の得意の演目であった。
