National Mass Party - Zenkoku Taishuto

A moderate proletarian party in the early Showa period. It was formed on July 20, 1930 (Showa 5) by the merger of three moderate factions: the Japan Mass Party, the All-Kokumin Mass Party, and the Unified National Council of Proletarian Parties. Its chairman was Aso Hisashi, and its secretary-general was Miwa Juso. In addition to the movement to break through poverty in rural areas, it was also influenced by the labor-farmer faction including Suzuki Mosaburo, and advocated absolute opposition to imperialist war, aiming to form a unified proletarian mass party. On July 4, 1956, it absorbed the combined faction of the Labor-Farmer Party and the Social Democratic Party, developing into the National Labor-Farmer Mass Party, before dissolving.

昭和初期の中間派無産政党。1930年（昭和5）7月20日、日本大衆党、全国民衆党、無産政党統一全国協議会の中間三派の合同によって結成された。議長は麻生久(あそうひさし)、書記長は三輪寿壮(みわじゅそう)。農村窮乏打破運動のほか、鈴木茂三郎(もさぶろう)ら労農派の影響もあって帝国主義戦争絶対反対を掲げ、単一無産大衆党の結成を目ざした。31年7月4日労農党および社会民衆党内の合同派を吸収し全国労農大衆党へ発展、解消した。
