Obusuma Saburo's illustrated words
A picture scroll. One volume. Created in the late Kamakura period, the artist is unknown. It depicts the brothers Yoshimi Jiro and Obusuma Saburo of Musashi. It is unusual in that it depicts the life of local samurai. The painting is a typical example of the gentle and elegant Yamato-e style.

絵巻物。一巻。鎌倉後期の作で作者は未詳。武蔵の吉見二郎、男衾三郎の兄弟らを描いたもの。地方武士の生活を題材とした点が珍しい。絵は温雅な大和絵の一典型をなす。
