1694-1767 (7th year of Genroku - 4th year of Meiwa) Agricultural politician of the mid-Edo period. His given name was Sadataka, and Heiemon was his nickname. He was born as the headman of Oshitate Village, Tama County, Musashi Province. When the Musashino Shinden fields, which were promoted as part of the Kyoho Reforms, faced the threat of collapse due to a severe crop failure in 1738 (Genbun 3), he was appointed to take charge of the new fields, and worked hard to restore them, becoming a magistrate in 1744 (Enkyo 1). In 1750 (Kan'en 3), he was transferred to the magistrate of Mino, and in 1767 (Meiwa 4), he was promoted to the position of Kanjo Ginmiyaku (financial accountant) and Iwami Ginzan Magistrate.
