Born in 1756, Rikuzen, Shiroishi [Died] July 9, 1823 (Bunsei 6). Shiraishi. A haiku poet of the late Edo period. His real name was Kiyoo Iwama. He was also known as Shoumado. He was the head priest of Senjyu-in Temple in Shiraishi Castle. He learned haiku from his father, Bakuro. His style was profound and gentle.
