There are many stories about these gods. The race of giants of Danu (another name for the race of the goddess Danu) is also believed to exist today as an invisible race of nymphs who hide in the ruins of earthen mounds, circular earthen forts, stone trenches, and burial mounds, and have an underground paradise. The giants of Dána also interacted with humans and gave birth to heroes. For example, the sun god Lugh transformed himself into a fly and entered the queen's cup, where he was drunk and fell into her womb, becoming Cuchulin. Meanwhile, the descendants of the war god Nuada include heroes such as Fion, his son Oisin, and his grandson Oscar.
