Sihanaka

...Their dwellings are simple, with only one room, but are famous for the geometric carvings on the walls, windows, and doors. On the steep slopes between the central highlands and the eastern coast, the Sihanaka and Tsimihety peoples raise livestock and also cultivate upland and wet rice. The Sihanaka live near Lake Alaotra, and some of them also engage in fishing.
