Sina (English spelling)

The peninsula is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gulf of Aqaba to the east, and the Suez Canal and the Gulf of Suez to the west. It is called Sina in Arabic. Most of the peninsula is desert, and the southern part is a mountainous area of ​​granitic rock centered on Mount Katirina (2,637 m).
