Zamzam

Japanese: Zamzam
Zamzam

...The place where Ibrahim stood, inside the Kaaba, where his footprints are said to have been left, is considered to be evidence of the historical authenticity of this story. There are many places in and around the Kaaba that are associated with Ibrahim, such as Minā, where Ibrahim was said to have offered his son Isma'il (Ishmael) as a sacrifice to God, the hills of Safa and Marwa, where Ibrahim's wife Hajar (Hagar), born in Africa, wandered between them with their infant son Isma'il, and the spring of Zamzam, where God took pity on the infant and blessed him to quench his thirst in response to the mother's sincerity in loving her. These places remain deeply connected to pilgrimage rituals even after the advent of Islam. Mecca is located in the middle of the desert, far from the hustle and bustle of civilization, and is the best place for cultivating the unique purity and spirit of simplicity and strength. According to Islamic teachings, it is also the place where Muhammad, the last prophet sent by God, began his missionary work and left many exemplary precedents.
