These two chambered tombs from the Later Han Dynasty (Han Dynasty) in Wangdu County, Hebei Province, China, are famous for their murals. Both are covered with clay over 10m high. Tomb No. 1 consists of eight chambers, including a front chamber, middle chamber, and back chamber, and there are murals in the front chamber and the corridor between the front and middle chambers. The subject is government officials from the Han Dynasty, and it gives an idea of what government offices were like at the time and the clothing of government officials. Almost no murals remain in Tomb No. 2 due to excavation robbery. Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
