Suntan

In the most severe cases, symptoms such as fever, nausea, tachycardia, and confusion may occur. The skin peels off in 2 to 7 days, leaving brown pigmentation behind (called suntan), which peaks after about 10 days. The mechanism behind this sunburn is not yet fully understood.
