He performed in Kyoto's Shijo-Kawara and in Nagoya during the Kanbun-Enpo era (1661-81). The surviving original copy is "Yuri Wakadaijin" published in 1662. Several generations of people have inherited this name. He was originally good at singing Buddhist chants. His age is unknown.
