tack

tack

...Alternatively, it is effective to allow sufficient time for solidification, or to slowly raise and lower the temperature after solidification in order to relieve the stress that occurs.
[Other adhesives]
It is possible to bond without relying on the solidification of the adhesive by using a viscous substance instead of an adhesive, but this type of adhesion is often called a tack or pressure-sensitive adhesion. In this case, the adhesive, or pressure-sensitive material, is considered to be a highly viscous liquid, and the force that resists peeling is considered to be the frictional force within the liquid when the adhesive layer deforms and flows, that is, the viscoelastic resistance.
