Kūhgilūyeh (English spelling)

...Until the time of the Safavids, they were a large and powerful political group, forming the Khurshidi dynasty (1155-early 17th century). However, they later split into two factions, with the group north of the river called the "Little Lor" and the group south of the river called the "Great Lor", but later took on the names of the Bakhtiari and Kūhgīlūyeh tribes. Furthermore, in the second half of the 19th century, the "Little Lor" split into eastern and western parts by the Kabir Mountains and the Kalha River, and today the Lor refers to the nomadic people of the eastern part of the region commonly known as the "Pishkūh" region.
