A collection of haiku poems. Compiled by Yamamoto Kakei. Published in 1689 (Genroku 2). 3 volumes in total. The third collection of the Seven Collections of Haikai. Commemorating the 500th anniversary of Saigyo's death, this collection contains 735 hokku and 10 volumes of renku, organized according to the 100 poems of Saigyo. According to Basho's preface, the intention behind the compilation was to pursue the "truth" that was lacking in the two collections Fuyu no Hi (1684, Jokyo 1) and Haru no Hi (1686). However, the opening poem by Sadamura, "Kore kore to to makari hana no yoshinoyama," and the inclusion of many poems from the Teimon and Danrin schools suggest that the "truth" of this collection was the righteousness of the heart, which is also common to the old style.

俳諧撰集。山本荷兮（かけい）編。1689年(元禄2)刊。全3巻。《俳諧七部集》の第3集。西行の五百歳忌を記念して，その百首歌にならった部立（ぶだて）の下，発句735句と連句10巻を収める。編集の意図は，芭蕉の序文によると，《冬の日》(1684∥貞享1)，《春の日》(1686)の2集に欠けた〈実（まこと）〉の追求にあるというが，巻頭に貞室の〈これはこれはとばかり花の芳野山〉の句を置いたり，貞門や談林の句を数多く採用したりしていて，本集の〈実〉が古風にも共通する有心（うしん）の正風性であったことをうかがわせる。
