Kṛṣṇadās (English spelling) Krsnadas

...After the religious reform by Chaitanya in the first half of the 16th century, this school of lyric literature reached its heyday, and in the second half of the 16th century, it produced such excellent poets as Gobinddas and Jnandas. Kṛṣṇadās's The Immortal Life of Choitonna, a biography of Choitonna, is also a masterpiece from this period. On the other hand, the Shakt school wrote many miracle stories about the gods Monosha and Chondi, including Kobikonkon Mukundram's Miracle of Chondi (late 16th or early 17th century) and Bharatchandra's Miracle of Onnoda (1752).

…16世紀前半のチョイトンノ(チャイタニヤ)による宗教改革の後，この派の抒情詩文学は全盛時代を迎え，16世紀後半にはゴビンドダシュ(ゴービンドダース)，ギャンダシュ(ジュニャーンダース)らの優れた詩人を輩出した。またチョイトンノの伝記を扱ったクリシュノダシュ(クリシュナダースKṛṣṇadās)の《チョイトンノ不滅の生涯》もこの時期の傑作である。一方シャクト系では，モノシャ神，チョンディ神などをめぐる霊験記が多く書かれたが，代表的なものとしてコビコンコン･ムクンドラム(カビカンカン･ムクンダラーム)の《チョンディ神霊験記》(16世紀末ないし17世紀初頭)，バロトチョンドロ(バーラトチャンドラ)の《オンノダ神霊験記》(1752)が挙げられる。…
