Hot rolling

Japanese: hot rolling(英語表記)hotrolling
Hot rolling

...the production of films for wraps and small condiment containers by passing plastic between two relatively thin rolls called calendar rolls is also a type of rolling (plastic molding).
[Rolling process]
Metal materials are processed into plates, bars, wires, shapes, tubes, etc. by rolling. There are two types of rolling: hot rolling, which is done while the material is heated, and cold rolling, which is done without heating. Hot rolling allows for large deformations and is suitable for blooming ingots and rolling plates and shapes, but it has the disadvantage of oxidizing the finished surface.
