Archeion (English)

…In his later years, he lost his job, was often ill, and died in despair. The academic journal he started in 1919, “Archivio di storia della scienza,” was renamed “Archeion” in 1925, but in 1929, when the international academic society was founded, it became the official journal, and was renamed “Archives internationales d'histoire des sciences,” which is still the name today. He also planned a large-scale work on the history of science, “Panorama general de historia de la sciencia,” two volumes of which were published during his lifetime, and the work was completed in 12 volumes after his death.
