A type of puppet theater and kabuki kyogen. Also called Naniwa Senkimono. A group of works based on the Winter Siege of Osaka and the Summer Siege of Osaka (the Siege of Osaka), which are handed down in a popular book called "Osaka Gunki" that was popular in the early modern period. However, since it was not permitted to dramatize it directly during the Edo period, many of the plays are adaptations of the exploits of Sanada Yukimura, Kimura Shigenari, Goto Matabei, and others, which are substituted for characters from the world of Yoshitsune's exodus from Oshu and the Omi Genji clan in the Kamakura period. This method was established mainly in puppet theater, and included "Yoshitsune Shintakadachi" at the Toyotake Theater in Osaka in January 1719 (Kyoho 4), "Nanban Tetsu Goto Menuki" at the Toyotake Theater in February 1702, "Omi Genji Senjin Yakata" at the Takemoto Theater in Osaka in December 1716 (Meiwa 6), and "Omi Genji Senjin Yakata" at the Takemoto Theater in Osaka in May of the following year. His works included "Taihei Kabuto no Kazari" for the main theater, "Koinonenjubunbu no Jindate" for the Takemoto Theater in November 1890 (Kansei 2), "Nitsupon Kenjiyo Kagami" for a side theater in Kitahorie City, Osaka in October 1894, and "Ninoumi Kou Miyou Suzuri" for the Dotonbori East Theater in Osaka in December 1800.
