Mitsuru Yasuda

Japanese: 安田躬弦 - やすだみつる

1763-1816 A doctor and poet from the mid to late Edo period.
Born in 1766. A doctor for the Fukui domain in Echizen. Served Sadahime, wife of Matsudaira Haruyoshi, the domain's lord, at the Edo domain residence. He studied waka poetry under Kamo Suetaka, and was friends with Murata Harumi and Kato Chikage. He passed away on January 5, 1810, at the age of 54. His first name was Jakuchu. He was commonly known as Ichian, and his pen name was Natsumebon. He is the author and editor of "Ano no Nikki" and "Yasuda Kōgen'ei."

宝暦13年生まれ。越前(えちぜん)福井藩医。江戸藩邸で藩主松平治好(はるよし)の妻定姫につかえた。和歌を賀茂季鷹(すえたか)にまなび,村田春海(はるみ),加藤千蔭らと親交があった。文化13年1月5日死去。54歳。初名は若冲。通称は一庵。号は棗本。編著に「安濃の日記」「安田躬弦詠」。
