Prince Okusaka - The Prince of Okusaka

A son of Emperor Nintoku who appears in the Kojiki and Nihonshoki. His mother was Kaminagahime. His wife was Nakashihime-no-mikoto (later the Empress of Emperor Anko). His son was Prince Mayowano. In the first year of the reign of Emperor Anko, the Emperor sent Neno-omi to arrange a marriage between Prince Okusaka's younger sister Princess Kusakanohatabihime and Prince Ohatsuse (Emperor Yuryaku). Prince Okusaka was happy to accept the marriage, but Neno-omi gave a false report and was killed by the Emperor. In the Kojiki, he is called Prince Dainichika and Hatabino-oiratsuko.
