This manor was established in Ouchigo, Kasa County, Tango Province (Wamyosho), and was also called Yoshii Manor. There is a place called Yoshii in what is now Uyasu, Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, and this area is identified with the area. Ouchigo was donated to the Nyobo Bendono Bureau of Hachijo-in by the development lord Taira Tatsukiyo in 1184 (although he retained the position of Jito), and a part of this, the Yoshii Manor Main Branch, was donated to Hachijo-in, and the Nyobo Bendono Bureau was appointed as its steward. Later, in 1338, one third of the land of the Ouchigo Yoshii Manor Lordship was donated to Toji Temple (Kyoogokokuji Temple) by two of Tatsukiyo's descendants (the Lordship position refers to the Jito position that Tatsukiyo had previously reserved). After this, Yoshii Manor, which was owned by Toji Temple, came to be called Ouchi Manor, but in the 14th century, Ouchi Manor, which is thought to have been the property of Rokuharamitsu Temple, appears in historical documents, and in the 15th century, Yoshii Manor (Ouchi Manor) which was owned by Kitano Shrine (Kitano Tenmangu Shrine) also existed.
