Ereğli (English spelling)

...Turkey's largest coalfield (annual production of about 8 million tons) is located nearby, producing high-quality caking coal. Karabük, about 70 km southeast, produces iron ore, and Turkey's largest steelworks, which uses coal from the Zonguldak coalfield, is located in Ereğli (about 30 km west of Zonguldak, population 50,000).
