Summary of the Years Since the Foundation of the Yanyan

Japanese: 建炎以来繫年要録 - けんえんいらいけいねんようろく（英語表記）Jiàn yán yǐ lái xì nián yào lù

A historical work in chronological order that describes the events of the reign of Gaozong, the first emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty in China (36 years including the Jianyan and Shaoxing periods, 1127-62). It has 200 volumes and was written by Li Xinchuan of the Southern Song Dynasty. It was completed around 1208-10. It contains approximately 500 types of court records, government documents, and private history and literature, making it the most important historical work of the early Southern Song Dynasty. The original has not been handed down, and the current version is a compilation of references made in the Ming Dynasty's "Yongle Encyclopedia." [Jichi Jun]
