Japanese: 黄金時代 - おうごんじだい
Golden Age
〘noun〙 (translation of golden age) 1. The first of four periods that the ancient Greeks divided human history into: gold, silver, bronze, and iron. An ideal age in which humans were free from all troubles, loved by the gods, and lived in comfort and peace, living in contentment. 2. The most glorious era in a country, nation, or the life of an individual. By extension, the most prosperous period of something; its heyday. *Consolation for Christians (1893) by Uchimura Kanzo, 4 "If Christ had been a great statesman, how could he have built a paradise on earth that would surpass the reigns of Yao and Shun and the Golden Age of Augustus?"
