Aomori Todomatsu - Aomori Todomatsu

Japanese:
Aomori Todomatsu - Aomori Todomatsu

An evergreen coniferous tall tree of the Pinaceae family (classification based on molecular phylogeny: Pinaceae). This name was given because it grows in abundance in Aomori Prefecture, the northernmost part of the country. However, because it is easily confused with the Aotodomatsu (Japanese larch) native to Hokkaido, the name Maries' Abies is more commonly used.
