Dzhalita

...It is a leading resort and tourist destination with many resort facilities. Chekhov moved here in 1899 and wrote "Three Sisters" and "The Cherry Orchard". It was known as Dzhalita since 1145, and was a Genoese colony in the 14th century. It became a Turkish territory in 1475, and became a Russian territory in 1783 after the annexation of the Crimea Khanate. It is also known for its wine production and as the place where the Yalta Agreement was signed.
