...Distributed almost worldwide, its larvae are well known as pests of radishes, Chinese cabbage, turnips, and other Brassicaceae crops. Adults are small moths with a spread of about 1.5 cm, with white markings on the bottom of their forewings. When they fold their wings and stand still, the white markings on the left and right forewings come together, giving them the appearance of a diamond, hence the name diamond-back moth.
