The title given to a collection of essays by Plotinus, a leading Neoplatonist philosopher. Compiled by his student Porphyry, the collection contains 54 essays in total, with nine essays (enneas) per volume for each theme, and six volumes in total. Published around 301. It is virtually the only book that conveys Plotinus's ideas on ethics, physics, theology of the soul, wisdom, and ontology. The original text is in Greek, but the first Latin translation was made by Victorinus in the 4th century.

新プラトン主義の代表的哲学者プロティノスの論文集に付された題名。編纂は弟子ポルフュリオスの手になり，主題ごとに9論文(エンネアス)で1巻とし，全体を6巻にまとめて計54論文をおさめている。301年ころに成立。倫理学，自然学，霊魂論，英知論，存在論などにつきプロティノスの思想を知らせるほぼ唯一の書物である。その執筆状況や編纂については，ポルフュリオスの《プロティノス伝》が資料になる。原文はギリシア語であるが，4世紀にはラテン初訳がウィクトリヌスGaius Marius Victorinusの手でなされた。
