Song of the Dragonfly Heaven - Yongbi ǒch'ǒnga

Japanese: 竜飛御天歌 - りゅうひぎょてんか（英語表記）Yongbi ǒch'ǒnga

A musical piece from the early Joseon Dynasty of Korea. It was published in the 29th year of King Sejong's reign (1447) by Kwon Tae, Jeong Inji, An Ji and others. Of the 125 chapters, each chapter except the first and last one consists of two poems. The first chapter sings of the great deeds of the Chinese emperors, and the second chapter is a founding hymn that sings of the deeds of the founding of the country by the six Joseon kings (Mokjo, Ikjo, Dojo, Hwanjo, Taejo and Taejong). It is written in a mixture of Chinese characters and Hangeul, and is accompanied by a Chinese translation of four lines. It was used at court banquets, and the score is preserved in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty as "Yominrak". It is a valuable document that was first recorded in Hunminjeongeum.

朝鮮，李朝初期の楽章。世宗 29 (1447) 年に権てい，鄭麟趾，安止らの撰進により刊行。全 125章のうち，第1章と終章以外は各章2首から成り，初首に中国歴代帝王の偉大な事績をうたい，次首はこれに符合させて李朝6代の王祖 (穆祖，翼祖，度祖，桓祖，太祖，太宗) の肇国の事績をうたった創業頌詠歌になっている。漢字とハングル混用で書かれ，それに四言四句の漢詩訳が添えられている。朝廷宴楽に用いられ，音楽では『与民楽』として『李朝実録』にその楽譜が伝わる。訓民正音で記録された最初の貴重な文献である。
