British Leyland Motor Corp.

...It is also called BL Corporation. Its predecessor was British Leyland Motor Corp. (BLMC), which was established in 1968 by the merger of British Motor Holdings Ltd. (which was created in 1952 by the merger of Austin and Morris) and Leyland Motor Corp. However, due to insufficient consolidation and reorganization of factories and types of cars after the merger, production and sales numbers declined, from 960,000 units in 1970 to 740,000 units in 1975.
