X-ray telescope

A device for detecting X-rays emitted from celestial bodies. The main types are a combination of an X-ray detector such as a proportional counter or semiconductor detector and a collimator that allows only X-rays coming from a certain direction to enter, or an X-ray reflecting telescope that collects X-rays with a reflecting mirror.
