...The spawning season is from autumn to winter, when the eggs are laid in gaps between stones or in the crevices of rocks. Young fish are called Aobokke and live in schools on the surface, but when they reach one year of age, they are called Candelabra and live on the seabed. Two-year-old fish are called Harubokke and form dense schools in spring and swim on the surface of the sea.
