Kitashichidayu

...A new school that was allowed to establish itself as a major school in the early Edo period. The founder of the school, Kita Shichidayu Nagayoshi (1586-1653), was the son of an eye doctor in Sakai and was skilled in Noh from an early age. He was a genius who was called "Nanatsudayu" (Seven Dayu) because he was able to dance Noh skillfully at the age of seven.
