Phosphatase

A type of hydrolase. A general term for enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of organic phosphate esters and organic and inorganic polyphosphates. Enzymes that hydrolyze esters include alkaline phosphatase and phosphodiesterase, while enzymes that hydrolyze acid anhydrides include adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) and adenyl pyrophosphatase. 加水分解酵素の一種．有機リン酸エステルおよび有機，無機ポリリン酸の加水分解を触媒する酵素の総称．エステルを加水分解するものにはアルカリホスファターゼ，ホスホジエステラーゼなどがあり，酸無水物を加水分解するものにはアデノシントリホスファターゼ(ATPase)，アデニルピロホスファターゼがある．[CAS 9013-05-2]
