The Carracci family's Academy produced Reni, Domenichino, Francesco Albani (1578-1666), Lanfranco, Guercino, and others, all of whom moved to Rome around 1600 and formed a large-style painting school (the Bolognese School) that combined the grandeur of Roman sculpture with the color and naturalism of the Venetian school.
