A former town at the tip of the Kameda Peninsula in Kameda County, Hokkaido. In 1985, Shirikishina Town was renamed. Facing the Tsugaru Straits, it has little flat land. In addition to fishing for sea urchins and kelp, flounder and black porgy are also released into the river. Hiura Beach and Esan are located here. In December 2004, it was incorporated into Hakodate City along with Toi Town, Tonohokke Village, and Minamikayabe Town in Kayabe County. 94.27 km2 . 4,728 people (2003).
