A former town at the tip of the Kameda Peninsula in Kameda County, Hokkaido. In 1985, Shirikishina Town was renamed. Facing the Tsugaru Straits, it has little flat land. In addition to fishing for sea urchins and kelp, flounder and black porgy are also released into the river. Hiura Beach and Esan are located here. In December 2004, it was incorporated into Hakodate City along with Toi Town, Tonohokke Village, and Minamikayabe Town in Kayabe County. 94.27 km2 . 4,728 people (2003). 北海道亀田郡,亀田半島先端部にある旧町。1985年尻岸内(しりきしない)町が改称。津軽海峡に面し,平地に乏しい。ウニ,コンブなどの漁獲のほか,ヒラメ,クロゾイの放流も行う。日浦海岸,恵山がある。2004年12月亀田郡戸井町,椴法華村,茅部郡南茅部町と函館市へ編入。94.27km2。4728人(2003)。
