Formula concordiae - Wakyoshinjo (English spelling)

This is an orthodox interpretation of the Augsburg Creed, and the last Lutheran creed of the Reformation era. In order to overcome the divisions within the Lutheran movement that arose after Luther's death, the Protestant princes of the Holy Roman Empire commissioned theologians to create this creed, mainly written by J. Andreae and M. Chemnitz, and completed in March 1577. It corresponds to the documents of the Catholic Council of Trent, and consists of 12 articles, clarifying the decisive position of Lutheran orthodoxy on the reality of Christ in the Eucharist, the relationship between divinity and humanity in Christ, God's foreknowledge and human freedom, and the fall of humanity.

アウクスブルク信条の正統的解釈書で，宗教改革時代のルター派最後の信条書。ルターの死後発生したルター主義運動内の分裂を克服するため神聖ローマ帝国の新教諸侯が神学者らに依頼して作成，主として J.アンドレー，M.ケムニッツが著述し，1577年3月に完成した。カトリックのトリエント公会議の文書に対応するもので，12ヵ条から成り，聖体内のキリストの実在，キリストにおける神性と人性の関係，神の予知と人間の自由，人間性の堕落などについてルター正統主義の決定的立場を解明している。
