Rikubansui

Japanese: 六盤水 - りくばんすい

A city in the western part of Guizhou Province, China. It was established in 1978 in the Liupanshui district and is made up of three special districts: Liuzhi, Panxian, and Shuicheng. Each central town is at the apex of an equilateral triangle with sides of approximately 180 km, and settlements are spread across a wide area of the city. It is dotted with caking coal seams and was originally just a small village in the Beipan River Valley and mountain basins on the Guizhou Plateau, but it has developed since the early 1950s and has become an emerging industrial city with the largest coke base in the southwest region, large steel and cement factories, and more.
