Seaside school - Rinkaigakko
A school educational event. During the summer, students stay in a dormitory overlooking the sea for a certain period of time, and participate in physical activities such as swimming, life training, and group training to improve their physical strength and health. This event has been held frequently since the Showa era. It can also refer to school facilities built on the seashore for the purpose of recuperating and educating physically weak students.

学校の教育行事の一つ。夏季の一定期間,児童生徒を海にのぞんだ宿舎に集団合宿をさせ,水泳などの体育活動や生活訓練,集団訓練を行い,体力や健康の増進をはかる行事。昭和以降盛んに行われている。また身体虚弱な児童生徒の療養と教育を目的として海浜に設けられる学校施設をいうこともある。
