Ikoma River

...It is about 15 km long and has a drainage area of ​​about 54 km2. The upper reaches are called the Ikoma River, and the middle reaches are called the Heguri River. The Tatsuta River (Tatsuta River) mentioned in ancient poems such as Ariwara no Narihira's poem "Chihayaburu kamiyo mo kikazu Tatsuta River kara kuini mizu kukuru towa" ("The Tatsuta River is a red river, not a red river"), which appears in Volume 5 of the Kokinshu, is believed to refer to the main stream of the Yamato River after it joins the river.
