A Chinese politician from the Northern Song Dynasty. His courtesy name was Tanfu and his posthumous name was Wenjing. He was from Shouzhou (Shou County, Anhui Province). He was a Jinshi in the 3rd year of the Xianping era (1000). He subsequently held various local government positions and demonstrated his administrative ability. When Emperor Renzong ascended to the throne, he became a co-regent, and in 1029 (7th year of Tiansheng), he became Tongping Zhangshi (Prime Minister). He resigned in 1037 (4th year of Jingyou) after clashing with young officials such as Fan Zhongyan over the issue of deposing Empress Guo, which sparked the party meeting of the Qingli era. In 1040 (1st year of Kangding), he became Prime Minister again. He gained Renzong's trust and assisted him for over 10 years as a practical Prime Minister, for which he was highly praised.

中国，北宋の政治家。字は担父，諡（おくりな）は文靖。寿州(安徽省寿県)の人。咸平3年(1000)の進士。以後地方官を歴任し行政能力を発揮した。仁宗の即位で参知政事，1029年(天聖7)同平章事(宰相)を拝し，皇后郭氏の廃后問題で范仲淹ら若手官僚と対立して慶暦の党議をひきおこして，37年(景祐4)退任。40年(康定1)再び宰相になった。仁宗の信頼を得て，実務家肌の宰相として10年以上も仁宗を補佐した功績は高く評価された。
