An active volcano on Rishiri Island, Hokkaido. It is 1,721 meters above sea level. It is also called Mount Rishiri or Rishiri Fuji. Because it is located at a high latitude, many alpine plants can be seen at the summit. There are hiking trails from Oshidomari and Kutsugata.
