A feudal lord in the early modern period. Born in Mikawa Province. Until 1666 (Kanbun 6), he was a hatamoto with a fief of 5,000 koku. When Tamori was appointed as a regular governor of Osaka, his fief was increased to 15,000 koku and he became a daimyo. During the time of his son Masatake, he was given a divided fief of 3,000 koku and set up a jin'ya in Kuki, Bushu. In 1799 (Genroku 12), he was given a divided fief of 11,000 koku. In 1798 (Kansei 10), he was transferred to Nagatoro, Ushu. In the Meiji period, he was transferred to Oami in Kazusa and Tatsuzaki in Hitachi. The head of the family was appointed as Dewa no Kami (Lord of Dewa) and Ise no Kami (Lord of Ise) with the rank of Junior Fifth Rank. 近世大名。三河国の出身。1666年(寛文6)までは5000石知行の旗本。田盛(たもり)は大坂定番任命を機に,1万5000石に加増され大名となる。その子政武のとき3000石を分知,陣屋を武州久喜に置く。99年(元禄12)分知により1万1000石。1798年(寛政10)羽州長瀞へ移封。さらに明治に至り,上総大網,常陸竜崎へ移された。当主は従五位下出羽守,伊勢守などに叙任。政武が寺社奉行となったほか,大坂定番就任者を出す。
