1931‐ A director born in Argentina. Along with fellow Argentineans V. Garcia and Sabari, he is a representative of the so-called Neo-Baroque, and is mainly active in France. He majored in economics at the University of Buenos Aires, but became fascinated with amateur theater, and in 1960 he received a scholarship to study at the Théâtre des Nations in Paris. In 1963 he won the Youth Theater Competition with Gombrowici's "The Marriage". In 1967 he established his position as a young director by directing Arrabal's "The Architect and the Assyrian Emperor" at the Théâtre de Montparnasse Gaston Baty and Seneca's "Medea" at the Odeon.
